Overview
Pure Instinct gives the early Instinct family a more herbal, woody direction, with tobacco and moss shaping its background.
Introduced in 2009, it retains citrus freshness but places it within a drier aromatic setting. That combination distinguishes it from fruitier editions such as Intense Instinct.
The metallic flask-style bottle follows the launch’s restrained, modern image. Pure is part of the original Eau de Toilette series and should not be confused with the later True Instinct Eau de Parfum, which has a different, pine-focused woodland theme.

For the drier Instinct fan
Pure Instinct is worth exploring if tobacco, moss and aromatic woods appeal to you more than sweet fruit. It gives the family a different base to work around. It is also easy to confuse with True Instinct by name, so check the metallic bottle and the Eau de Toilette label when shopping.
