Overview
Fougère d’Argent brings a traditional fragrance structure into Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection.
Created by Olivier Gillotin and Linda Song in 2018, it gives the familiar aromatic fougère style a warmer, more polished setting. The dark architectural bottle and gold label keep it within the visual language of Private Blend.
‘Fougère’ means fern, but in perfumery it describes a family of aromatic compositions rather than the literal smell of a plant. This unisex Eau de Parfum is an entry point for anyone curious about that style beyond conventional aftershave associations.

A polished take on a familiar style
If you enjoy aromatic, lavender-led fragrances but want something with more warmth, Fougère d’Argent is worth comparing. Its classic structure is the attraction; anyone expecting an unusual concept just because it is Private Blend may want to reset that expectation. Try it alongside less expensive fougères to judge whether this particular interpretation earns its place for you.
