Overview
Homme was conceived as a reflection of Beckham’s personal style beyond the football pitch.
Released in 2011, it brings together fresh spice, leather and warm woods in a fragrance built around a groomed, understated masculine image. Pierre Negrin created the composition for Beckham’s collaboration with Coty.
The broad glass bottle, with the Beckham name running across it, gives Homme an identity of its own among the early releases. It later led to Urban Homme, a fruitier interpretation by Maurice Roucel. The much later Classic Homme belongs to a different family.

The original Homme
Homme is a useful starting point for someone interested in Beckham’s woody-spicy fragrances. Its leather-and-wood direction is more relevant to the buying decision than the celebrity name. Be careful with listings that shorten Classic Homme to Homme: they are different releases, and the broad rectangular bottle identifies this older one.
