Overview

Signature Story for Her takes its cue from classic Hollywood romance.

Launched in 2009 as part of a pair, Nathalie Lorson’s composition combines soft fruit and flowers with a mossy, earthy background. It has a floral-chypre structure—a floral scent given definition by a drier base—rather than the sweeter fruit-led style of the original Signature.

The handwritten decoration on the bottle reinforces the love-story theme. It is a distinct chapter in David and Victoria’s Signature collection, conceived around vintage glamour and romance rather than the seasonal freshness of the later Summer releases.

A floral with a mossy side

Signature Story for Her is the one to consider if you prefer a floral with some earthy structure rather than uncomplicated sweetness. The mossy, patchouli side is likely to matter more to your choice than the romantic packaging. Retail listings can disagree on concentration, so check the label on the actual bottle.
