Gabrielle Essence

Gabrielle Essence takes the luminous floral idea of Gabrielle Chanel in a fuller, warmer direction.

Olivier Polge created it in 2019, two years after the original fragrance, as part of Chanel's tribute to Gabrielle before she became known as Coco.

The square bottle keeps the original's clean shape but uses stronger gold accents to signal the change in character. Essence is still a floral fragrance at heart; its appeal is the more enveloping interpretation, rather than a completely different theme. It is a separate Eau de Parfum within the Gabrielle collection.
