Overview

Urban Homme takes the leather-and-woods idea of Homme in a fruitier, more relaxed direction.

Maurice Roucel created this limited edition for 2013, drawing on Beckham’s evolving urban style. Fresh fruit and aromatic greenery lead into softer suede and warmth.

It followed Pierre Negrin’s original Homme from 2011, keeping the broad bottle while changing the composition. The concept was contemporary city dressing rather than sport or outdoor adventure. For someone exploring the two, Urban Homme offers a brighter, fruitier interpretation of the same groomed image.

The fruity Homme offshoot

Urban Homme takes the older Homme family in a fruitier, aromatic direction. That gives it a reason to try beyond its limited-edition status. Someone seeking the original Homme’s particular leather-and-wood balance should not buy this as a direct replacement. The red lettering helps identify the version when browsing older stock.
