Amyris Femme Extrait gives the original Amyris idea a sunnier, more floral expression.
The 2019 extrait returns to the amyris-and-iris pairing introduced in the 2012 Eau de Parfum. Kurkdjian’s inspiration remains the easy elegance and movement of Paris, but this interpretation puts a fuller floral character in the foreground.
It is an alternative composition within Amyris Femme, rather than a reason to assume the more concentrated bottle will suit everyone better. The original Eau de Parfum remains the useful comparison.

A brighter, fuller Amyris
This is worth a look if you like the neat, elegant feel of Amyris Femme but want more of a floral statement. The fruity brightness keeps the idea approachable. If you prefer the quieter character of the original, don’t let the word Extrait decide for you; the change in emphasis matters more than the label.
