Overview
Oud Silk Mood sets a rose-and-oud theme within the fabric-inspired Mood collection, aiming for the lightness and movement suggested by silk.
This Extrait de Parfum launched in 2013 alongside Cashmere Mood and Velvet Mood. Each fragrance gave the house’s oud project a different texture; Silk added a distinctive floral and herbal character.
The Extrait is the original version. A later Oud Silk Mood Eau de Parfum also exists, so concentration is an essential part of the name when choosing a bottle or comparing opinions.

Rose and oud with a herbal edge
Silk Mood is worth exploring if you enjoy rose and oud together but want something beyond a straightforward sweet pairing. Its herbal, slightly dry side is part of what gives it a different character.
That edge may be the sticking point if you prefer a soft, sugary rose. The elegant name does not guarantee an easy scent for everyone. Make sure a sample is the Extrait de Parfum; impressions of the later Eau de Parfum will not necessarily answer your questions about this one.
