Oud Silk Mood Eau de Parfum explores a lighter, more airy texture within MFK’s oud collection.
This 2018 release follows the Oud Silk Mood Extrait introduced in 2013. The reversed order matters: the Extrait is the earlier composition, rather than a later upgrade to this Eau de Parfum.
The silk theme centres on the contrast between rose, woods and a more open, herbal freshness. It is a different mood from the thick sweetness associated with Oud Satin Mood.

The Silk and Satin names matter
Oud Silk Mood is a useful comparison if Satin Mood sounds too sweet and you prefer a more airy, woody rose. It is still an oud fragrance, so don’t mistake the silk imagery for a barely-there floral. Compare the EDP with the original Extrait if you have the chance; they arrived five years apart and deserve separate consideration.
