Overview
Tom Ford Noir explores the contrast between a composed public image and a more intimate private side.
Olivier Gillotin created this men’s Eau de Parfum in 2012 for the Signature collection. Its spicy, powdery amber character is reflected in a restrained black bottle.
This is the original Noir, not Noir Extreme. The later Eau de Toilette and other Noir releases make the name easy to confuse when browsing listings. For someone discovering the range, the 2012 Eau de Parfum is the starting point for its more traditional, dressed-up direction.

For someone who enjoys a powdery, dressed-up scent
Noir is worth exploring if you like warm fragrances with a noticeable powdery side. It may be less appealing if you want a crisp fresh scent or a straightforward sweet gourmand. Make sure a sample or listing is for the original Eau de Parfum: Noir Extreme is a different fragrance, despite the similar name and packaging.
