Overview
Cinéma takes its cue from the glamour of film stars and the feeling of stepping into the spotlight.
Jacques Cavallier created it for Yves Saint Laurent in 2004, giving that idea a soft floral and warm, powdery-amber character.
The fragrance belongs to a more dressed-up side of YSL's collection, with sweetness and rounded warmth rather than a sporty freshness. Its name describes the mood as much as the inspiration: elegant, romantic and deliberately glamorous. This is the original women's Eau de Parfum, distinct from later Cinéma variations.
