The perfumer
Fabrice Pellegrin
About
Fabrice Pellegrin grew up closely connected to the perfume industry in Grasse: his father was a perfumer, his grandmother picked jasmine, and his grandfather supplied natural materials. He learned the craft from experienced professionals, following ingredients from their harvest through to their use in a finished fragrance.
His career has included Robertet and Mane, followed by a move to Firmenich in 2008. Natural ingredients remain central to his work, which combines fragrance creation with their development in the laboratory. Pellegrin also places importance on sharing practical knowledge with younger perfumers, treating the craft as something that evolves through exchange between generations.
