Overview
L’Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum continues Guerlain’s playful idea that the ideal man may be imaginary, but his fragrance can exist.
Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk created this 2016 interpretation, following the original Eau de Toilette of 2014 and the Cologne of 2015.
It retains the collection’s almond identity while taking it in a warmer, richer direction. The square bottle connects it to the rest of the line, so the Eau de Parfum wording is important when shopping. It is a separate composition, not just the original EDT with a higher concentration.

A warm choice with an almond signature
This is worth a sample if you like a sweet, rounded masculine fragrance with a recognisable almond character. Its richness is likely to appeal more than its freshness, so think about which side you usually enjoy. If you already know the EDT, compare rather than assume: the EDP changes the balance, and that change may matter more than the strength label.
