Overview
Oud Satin Mood translates the feel of satin into a rich, sweet and enveloping rose-oud fragrance.
Francis Kurkdjian introduced this Eau de Parfum in 2015 as part of a fabric-inspired exploration of oud. The intention is texture and opulence rather than a literal portrait of raw oud wood.
The 2017 Extrait takes the same theme in a still fuller direction, while the hair perfume is a separate format. This is the original Eau de Parfum and the most useful starting point for the Satin Mood family.

Rich sweetness is the appeal—and the caution
Oud Satin Mood is a strong candidate if you love a luxurious rose-and-vanilla style with plenty of warmth. If you came looking for a dry, rugged oud, it may be the wrong direction. The sweetness is a big part of its identity, so try a small amount before deciding it belongs in your everyday rotation.
