Olivier Pescheux

Olivier Pescheux (1966–2023) was a master perfumer at Givaudan. Born in Paris and trained at ISIPCA, he began his career in Bangkok with Payan Bertrand before working at Annick Goutal and Kao. He joined Givaudan in 1998 and returned in 2006 after a period at Quest International.

His creations and collaborations include Paco Rabanne 1 Million, Dior Higher, and Diptyque Eau des Sens, Fleur de Peau and Orphéon. Givaudan remembers his work for its clarity and elegance, and his colleagues emphasize his generosity as a mentor. Pescheux saw himself as a craftsman, finding new possibilities in familiar perfume materials.
